Smiles and Miles Travel CEO Ellen Paderson, in partnership with Sandals/Beaches Resorts, recently sponsored a Hole-in-One contest at a “Day of Thanks” golf tournament to benefit a worthy military charity.
“Wish for Our Heroes” is a national 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to fulfilling wishes for active military families: everything from meeting basic daily needs to enabling reunion vacations for returning personnel.

Ellen and Kirk Olsen, Sandals/Beaches Regional Business Development Manager, teamed up to offer an all-inclusive expense-paid Sandals vacation for two, to anyone shooting a hole-in-one on the fourth hole at the annual tournament at Ledgemont Country Club, Seekonk MA.
Though no golfer achieved the hole-in-one on tournament day, Smiles and Miles Travel and Sandals/Beaches Resorts have extended a special offer to tournament participants, to help support “Wish for Our Heroes”. From now until December 31, 2013, any tournament golfer booking a premium Sandals/Beaches vacation package through Smiles and Miles Travel will have a $200 donation made in his/her name to Wish for Our Heroes.
